State and Public Governance

As Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is every day one step closer to becoming a member of the European Union and with the growing demand of citizens, the public and private institutions in BiH must undergo inevitable reforms. In this context, the reform primarily refers to interoperability of BiH public governance with the European one. Having in mind emreging preferences and increased society needs, the public governence must focus on its users: citizens and economy as a whole. Therefore, it should provide a faster, more efficient and transparent governing services with the aim of achieving a higher living standard and an added value to the overall service value chain in the economy. Utiliziation of information and communication technology is a must in the process of transforming the public governance into a citizen-friendly service provider. Also, development of digitalized public governance is a fundamental part of an IT society development in BiH.
